I took a trip to Cozumel and spent the day taking a scooter once around the island. At the southern tip, I came across a small open-air bar where a local guy was serving fresh fish tacos and cold beer. As we talked, he told me that if I wanted—or had—to stay the night, he had hammocks installed behind the bar. It was a perfect day, and I suddenly realized: this was his full-time job! I looked at him and said, “Wait a minute… you’re actually at work right now, aren’t you?” He just smiled. That moment stuck with me. When I got back home, I bought the domain name Joe’s Bar & Grill—the beginning of an idea.
These days, Joe’s Bar & Grill is all about friends and the people they bring along — good food, cold drinks, and conversations worth having.
It’s not a restaurant. It’s a mindset.
